Abstract

The book published by Anita Garibaldi Publishing House, has as its main content a compilation of ten texts on the economic development of China written by geographer Elias Jabbour individually and in co-authorship with other scholars in the field. In addition to this content, the work includes an interview granted by the author in 2019 to the Humanitas Unisinos Institute, two short texts by way of presentation made by geographer Armen Mamigonian and economist Luiz Gonzaba Belluzzo, a preface by Renato Rabelo (former president of the Communist Party of Brazil), an introduction written by Jabbour himself and, finally, the epilogue by researchers Alberto Gabriele and Francesco Schettino.
