About the Journal

The Revista Interdisciplinaria de Estudios Sociales (Interdisciplinary Journal of Social Studies) is a biannual publication of the Colectivo de Estudios e Investigaciones Sociales (Social Studies and Research Group, CEISO, for its Spanish acronym), in association with the Grupo Interdisciplinar de Estudos e Pesquisa sobre Capitais Transnacionais, Estado, Classes Dominantes e Conflitividade em América Latina e Caribe (Interdisciplinary Group of Social Studies and Research on Transnational Capitals, State, Dominant Classes and Conflicts in Latin America and the Caribbean, GIEPTALC, for its Portuguese acronym), of the Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana (UNILA). It publishes papers on social sciences and the humanities; the content is intended for researchers, specialists and undergraduate and graduate students. The journal is also indexed and included in the Latindex (Regional System of Online Information for Scientific Journals from Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal) catalogue and the Qualis system of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, CAPES, for its Portugese acronym).
