Social order, neoliberal governmentality and the entrepreneurial subject of itself
Keywords:
discursive formations, neoliberalism, subjectivitiesAbstract
This text seeks to account for the phenomenon of neoliberalism, understanding it more as a practice of governing than as a political ideology, according to the theoretical developments carried out by Michel Foucault. We intend to show neoliberalism as a discursive operation that seeks to establish itself as ontological ground according to social orders that are established in a contingent way, although with claims of universality. From this theoretical perspective, it seeks to make explicit the consequences that the discursive practices of neoliberal governmentality have in the construction of subjectivities.
